Training
When we ask survivors what they think are priorities for changing the way domestic abuse support is designed and delivered, ‘domestic abuse training for professionals’ always comes top of the list!
Training Matters
Until domestic abuse training is mandatory for key professionals, VOICES will continue to develop and offer specialist, experience-based training designed to improve the way those who have experienced domestic abuse are supported. Our training is trauma informed, recovery focused and person-centred, and based on a whole picture, whole systems approach. We can provide workshops, awareness sessions and longer courses. All our training work builds on the insights of those with lived experience and is co-created with survivors.
Training offers in 2022
Building on our trauma & recovery expertise and training experience to date, VOICES will be developing training offers through 2022, available in person or remotely. These will include packages for health and social care workers, police, probation and other legal services, education professionals; voluntary services and local councils.
Bespoke training
We can also provide bespoke training to meet your individual or workplace needs.
For more information or to discuss costs of training packages, workshops and bespoke training, please get in touch: info@voicescharity.org
