Meeting And Talking Empowering Survivors (MATES)

What is MATES

MATES is a social group for women who have left abusive relationships to meet on a weekly basis. The group is shaped by survivors and offers the chance to socialise, inform, encourage and support one another. A place to be yourself, not explain yourself!  

There are refreshments and a relaxed atmosphere as well as regular opportunities to try new creative arts/ activities if you choose to, or you can just come for a cuppa and a chat.

MATES is free to attend, travel costs will be reimbursed. There is no creche but if childcare is a barrier to attending please speak to us.

  • When: Thursdays in school term time only
  • Where: Bath — confidential address provided to attendees only.
  • Times: 12.30 – 2.30pm
