Funding matters
As an independent charity founded by survivors raising their own funds since 2014, success with grants and foundations is crucial to our continued development and sustainability. Funders have helped us create an innovative service built around survivor’s needs and experiences with a focus on preventing harm, recovering and thriving.
After 7 years, we are incredibly proud of where we have got to, as providers of recovery services, innovators through our law clinic, DA Hardship Fund and combined therapy service, and our platform, raising VOICES for change through work with SafeLives, Women’s Aid, CAFCASS, Ministry of Justice, media and research work.
None of this would have been possible without visionary funders and supporters, who have supported us to build VOICES from the ground up. We are incredibly grateful to all our funders and supporters, who enable us to make a difference to local domestic abuse survivors every day, and ensure their voice matters.
We need you
VOICES are currently fundraising to develop a Safe Space Centre for Bath.
Both the COVID-19 pandemic and the epidemic of violence against women and girls have affected VOICES. We are now supporting a higher number of clients than ever before, with referral rates increasing by 400% when lockdown ended. Safe Spaces for those at risk of or affected by violence and abuse are more urgently needed than ever. To find out how you or your organisation could help, please contact our Director ursula@voicescharity.org, who will be happy to discuss VOICES’ vision and future funding plans.

We can support you now
If you are ready to have a conversation with us, leave a safe number for us to call and a time that suits you either on our answer machine or via email.
No commitments, no record without your consent. Just a conversation.
