Voices have shown me that I'm not alone, but more than that, I have people around me who truly understand my experiences and are able to listen without judgement, question or disbelief. Every time I speak within any session connected to Voices, I know I am heard and actually listened to. This is so powerful after years of being silent and having no voice or opinion.

Voices have changed my life completely. I have gone from being a victim feeling frightened of the world and nervous of everything to a strong and powerful woman with much more knowledge. My journey hasn’t finished and I still have obstacles to overcome but voices have changed my life in so many ways that I will forever be thankful for everything.

It’s given me the hope that I can heal and move on. I don’t have to be a victim and let what has happened dominate my life. It’s giving me a safe place to be vulnerable and heal where there is no judgement but compassion and support. I don’t feel like I’m crazy anymore as voices get it they understand just what the abuse does to people and I no longer feel so alone.

Voices have helped me to have the strength to keep going, through the hardest and most unsurvivable of times. My whole family are grateful to Voices: you are a battalion of angels, who work truly and tirelessly, to make safe lives happen.
