Wera Hobhouse Bath MP Speaks to Government to safeguard services like VOICES, who are a life-line for survivors in Bath, offering long-term support

Spiritual faith can be the safe space for many women affected by domestic and sexual violence and abuse. An overcomer of 55 years of domestic abuse wrote this poem about the extra ties that can bind women of faith into abusive relationships, and personal, spiritual resistance.

Women's Aid are asking decision makers to recognise how domestic abuse affects women’s mental health, and to fund and work with specialist domestic abuse services, to include resourcing for a range of therapeutic and holistic mental health support.
