A report on domestic abuse survivors' experiences of family lawyers and the need for trauma expertise in the family justice system, produced by SafeLives and based on survivor consultation work by VOICES was launched at the Old Bailey on 30 March 2022.
HRH Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall visited VOICES as the Patron of St John's Foundation in Bath on 8 February 2022, to meet our charity's founders, staff and trustee team and discuss the value of long-term and recovery support with women we have worked with.

VOICES is calling for whole community support to ensure organisations created by and for survivors of domestic abuse can flourish in safety.
A vocational school in Hennef, Germany marked the 40th anniversary of the 16 Days of Activism with an unusual and inspiring initiative. The institution is one among a national network of "Courage Schools", and their campaign showed that combatting violence against women and girls is everybody's business.

We need to work actively to make spaces and services safe and inclusive for women from all backgrounds and situations, and remove barriers to support due to migrant status, ethnicity, language, neurodiversity, disability and other aspects of lived experience.
New data, released on 10th March 2021 by UN Women UK, shows that the majority of women and girls in the UK are experiencing sexual harassment in public spaces. They are calling for public spaces to be safe and inclusive for all, now.
